Library Welcomes Audio-Visual Librarian, Pat Pate

The library is pleased to welcome Pat Pate to the library team. Pat is Roane State’s Audio-Visual Services Librarian. His main duties include developing and maintaining audio-visual collections.

Pat has worked as Roane State’s AV Librarian for 23 years. Since 1992, the audio-visual collection has been a service provided by the Center for Teaching Arts and Technology. Now, the audio-visual collection is operating as part of the library.

We are glad to have Pat with us and look forward to finding new ways to offer the books, magazines, newspapers, databases, websites and (now) DVDs and video materials students need to succeed.

Audio-visual services and collections will be in transition for a while as Pat moves into his new location on the second floor of the Roane campus library building.

For now, you can continue to access the list of audio-visual holdings through the CTAT webpage.

More updates will follow on the specific collections and services available through your library.
